Definition

Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the left sinus of Valsalva,
or "killer coronary"

Clinical features

-Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the left coronary cusp, with an interarterial course between the aorta and pulmonary artery
-Very rare, 0.3%
-Often asymptomatic
-The angulation at the origin of the right coronary artery and the compression of the interarterial segment reduce blood flow in the right coronary artery, with a risk of ischemia or even sudden death
-Sudden death or myocardial ischemia in young patients, arrhythmia, syncope
