Definition
Mainly caused by cancers of the breast, Kidney, colon, Stomach, prostate, and testes, as well as melanomas.
Its frequency is low, on the order of 2% of all metastases.
Clinical features
Recurrent hemoptysis, cough, wheezing
Radiography
Ventilatory impairment, segmental Atelectasis
CT
CT slices poorly assess bronchial walls and endoluminal locations, sometimes with mucoceles. These locations may be associated with other intrapulmonary metastatic nodules.
