Definition
Exceedingly rare fatty tumor of the internal auditory canal
MRI
Reference examination:
- T1 and T2 hyperintensity that suppresses with fat saturation
- No enhancement after gadolinium injection
Differential diagnosis
- Vestibular schwannoma (by far the most common)
- Hemangioma
- Neurofibroma
- Meningioma
- Facial nerve neuroma
- Lymphoma
