Definition
Gastric lipomatosis is defined by:
- the presence of multiple gastric lipomas
- or diffuse submucosal or subserosal infiltration of the gastric wall by fatty tissue
Clinical features
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Nonspecific gastric symptoms
- Asymptomatic
CT
Multiple gastric lipomas
or diffuse submucosal (or subserosal) infiltration of the gastric wall by hypodense fatty tissue
MRI
Same as CT
Differential diagnosis
Lipoma - gastrointestinal
