Definition

Dilation of one or more lymph-filled cavities lined with endothelium.
This mass does not extend into the renal parenchyma.

Clinical features

- Flank pain
- Hematuria
- Asymptomatic

Ultrasound

B-mode:
Rounded, anechoic, non-confluent formations without pelvicalyceal dilation.

CT

CT urography will show distinct opacification of the calyces and cysts.

Differential diagnosis

Pelvicalyceal dilation.
