Definition
Upper genital tract infection.
This is the first stage of upper genital tract infections, which in most cases result from ascending contamination of the genital tract.

- Spontaneous pelvic pain
- Pain on uterine mobilization

- Heterogeneous endometrial thickening
- Intracavitary fluid retention
CT
- Abnormal endometrial widening and enhancement
- Intraendometrial fluid

- Intracavitary retention
- Enhancement of the endometrial cavity.
