Definition
Triad combining:
- insertional tendinopathy of the calcaneal tendon
- retrocalcaneal Bursitis
- deformity of the posterosuperior aspect of the calcaneus
Radiography
Hypertrophy and deformity of the posterosuperior aspect of the calcaneus visible on the lateral view
MRI
- Insertional tendinopathy of the calcaneal tendon: partial detachment, PD hyperintensity
- Retrocalcaneal Bursitis: collection with PD/T2 hyperintensity
- Deformity of the posterosuperior aspect of the calcaneus, which may show PD FatSat hyperintensity
