Definition
Tumor spread to the pulmonary parenchyma via lymphatic vessels, either antegrade (hematogenous), retrograde (from mediastinal lymph nodes), or transdiaphragmatic.
Most common primary cancers: breast, stomach, pancreas, prostate, cervix, thyroid, and lung.
