Definition
A remnant of the thyroglossal duct, the pyramidal lobe of Lalouette is attached to the isthmus, often deviated to the left.
Clinical features
Asymptomatic
Ultrasound
Tissue mass, with the same echogenicity as the thyroid gland, most often attached to the thyroid isthmus, extending along the trachea
CT
Tissue mass, with the same density as the thyroid gland, most often attached to the thyroid isthmus, extending along the trachea
Differential diagnosis
