Definition
Rare cysts located within the lateral ventricles, rarely in the subarachnoid spaces, brainstem, or cerebellum
Clinical features
Possible obstructive hydrocephalus & seizures
MRI
Intraventricular cyst (lateral ventricle+++) with signal identical to CSF on all sequences, without enhancement
Differential diagnosis
Choroid plexus cyst: located in the atrium, calcified and enhancing, often with signal different from CSF
