Unilateral, mobile, relatively firm pubic or labial mass Usually non-reducible

Inguinal hernia containing a well-defined, ovoid, vascularized tissue structure with peripheral follicles: ovary Torsion is exceptional: should be suspected in the presence of ovarian enlargement, twisting of the pedicle within the canal, or absent Doppler signal If in doubt, consider contrast-enhanced ultrasound
