Definition

Tripod fracture of the zygoma = association of:
- frontozygomatic diastasis or fracture of the frontal process of the zygoma,
- fracture of the zygomatic arch,
- and fracture of the orbital floor and/or the anterior wall of the maxillary sinus and/or the lateral wall of the maxillary sinus.
