Age: 60 years,
Sex ratio: 1

Valvular location:
Aortic (44%) > Mitral (35%) > Tricuspid (15%) > Pulmonary (8%)

Morphology:
Multilobulated, gelatinous, pedunculated mass
About 1 cm

Clinical features

Asymptomatic ++
Dyspnea
Stroke
Sudden death (coronary obstruction)

Ultrasound

Valvular location
Size < 15 mm
Pedunculated
Ill-defined, irregular margins
Mobility ++ (intravalvular prolapse)

CT

ECG gating

Without contrast injection:
Hypodense valvular nodule
Visible if size > 10 mm

After contrast injection:
No enhancement

Cine imaging:
Mobility +/- intravalvular prolapse

MRI

T1:
Hypointense or isointense to myocardium
Difficult to see if small in size
Valve irregularity

T2:
Hypointense or isointense to myocardium
Difficult to see if small in size
Valve irregularity

Injection:
Pseudo-nodular enhancement
