Definition
This is a rare anatomic variant of the vertebral artery (0.1-1.95%), frequently associated with intracranial aneurysms.
Clinical features
Generally without clinical significance, except when associated with an intracranial aneurysm, which may develop at the proximal portion of the fenestration
