Definition

Observed after irradiation exceeding 45 Gy, chronic radiation colitis appears more than 6 months after completion of treatment; it is secondary to obliterative endarteritis.

CT

Circumferential wall thickening, elongated strictures, no tumor mass, and infiltration of the perienteric fat.

Fistulas may occur.
